Exotic Patterned Silk Rugs: A Global Sensation

Many friends must be puzzled by our shipping images, wondering if such exaggerated patterns are really used for flooring and what style of furniture can complement them. Despite their seemingly rustic appearance, these patterns are quite popular abroad. The answer is affirmative; we have been selling these patterns internationally and have been doing quite well, with thousands of square feet sold each month.

Most people in China may not appreciate them, including myself, but the moment I saw the buyer’s showcase, I understood that placing them in the right home can highlight their unique charm. There is always a reason and value for the popularity of these patterns. Today’s set of buyer images is provided by a foreigner who is particularly fond of the Ocean Heart pattern, so much so that his entire luxurious residence is covered in this pattern.

It is paired with the popular Spanish furniture brand Mariner, which is a match of high-end furniture with high-end silk rugs. This kind of blue-themed pairing throughout the house is indeed rare but very pleasing to the eye. (Showcase from international clients of Tianjiang) Speaking of Mariner, I remember that many domestic clients also use it. As a top-tier, ancient Spanish brand, Mariner’s classical and elegant style is evident in every detail of the furniture.

The furniture lines are smooth and natural, embodying the neoclassical style. Clients who appreciate Mariner are unlikely to casually lay a carpet; the brand’s background story, including its philosophy, shares many similarities with ours: luxury, uniqueness, and craftsmanship. Every piece of Mariner’s furniture is made by hand with extremely high demands on the craftsmen, resulting in works of art.

(All information is from the official website, to be removed upon infringement) Tianjiang is no different. A hand-woven silk carpet must go through dozens of processes to be fully woven, such as a 200x300cm silk rug, which takes 10 months to weave. With raw materials, design, and the craftsmen’s efforts, the price is naturally high, but it is not an inflated price; it is worth the value. A good carpet can last for decades without wearing out.

Friends of Tianjiang, including clients I have met, mention that our product images and shipping images seem a bit low-end. I do not argue because I also admit that they are not very high-end. Here are some images to show the stark contrast. (The left image shows the effect in the warehouse; the right image shows the effect in the client’s home) I suggest that everyone should view our images with a filter.

Each of our carpets goes through many processes from creation to sale, and with the large quantity, we cannot take detailed photos of each one. Daily shipping and packaging already consume most of our physical strength and energy. Therefore, I suggest that everyone should view the product images with a filter, as a good carpet will always be beautiful in the home.
